Good Morning, Talawanda! Today is Tuesday January 8, 2019

All YITs are invited to the first meeting of the 2nd semester this Wednesday after school. Hope to see you then!

Happy Birthday to Kayla Berry and Dalton Robinson who both turn 15, and Hannah Sparks  who turns 17.

And now for What’s The T and Patty G.

The boys bowling team beat Little Miami yesterday at home by a score of 2596 to 2551.  Gaege Fakes bowled a 448 series and Jarrett White had a 422. The girls bowling team  fell to Little Miami 1710 to 1668, Grace Steigerwald bowled a 329 and Jessica Myers had a 280.

And we wish best of luck to the boys basketball team who visits Northwest tonight. Varsity tip is at 7:30.

Finally today, I wanted to congratulate one of our fellow Talawanda students on a big community honor. Senior Braelynn Wagers was announced as an Oxford Citizen of the Year in the Oxford Press this weekend. She was chosen for the award based on over 1,000 hours of community service over the past year, and her major project to donate supplies to victims of the Tennessee Wild Fire a couple of years ago, so Braelynn, congratulations and keep up the good work.

And that’s our broadcast on this Tuesday. I’m Patrick Geshan. Thanks so much for watching, and have a great day.
