Good Morning, Talawanda! Today is Monday January 7, 2019

Setting stone will meet briefly after school today in Mr. Aerni’s to discuss this February’s coffee house.

Happy Birthday to Luke Richardson and Trenton Young who both turn 17, and Alayna Birmingham who turns 14.

And now for What’s The T and Patty G.

Welcome back everyone! Well on Friday, the boys basketball team fell to Edgewood by a score of 53-42 in their first game of 2019. Craig James had 11 points and Jon Richter had 10. The boys team is now 0-10 overall, and 0-4 in the SWOC.

On Saturday, the Women’s Basketball team lost at Northwest 73-30.  Jenna Tegge and Sophie Pohlabel led Talawanda scorers with 8 points.

The bowling teams had their SWOC bowling championships Saturday. The boys team finished 2nd overall in SWOC standings this year with a 4-2 conference record, and the girls finished 5th with a 2-4 conference record. Both teams have a few matches left before the season ends.

The hockey team went 1-1 over the weekend in their two home games. Friday night, Talawanda fell 5-3 to Beavercreek, and Saturday, the Braves beat Sycamore 4-1.

That’s our broadcast on this Monday. I’m Patrick Geshan. Hope everyone had a nice break.
