Good Morning, Talawanda! Today is Wednesday December 5th, 2018

This is the last week to sign up for the winter blood drive.  Please turn in your forms to the office, room 611 or during your lunch time.  Talawanda High is a red cord school.  If you donate blood 3 times during high school you will receive red cords for graduation.  For every person who donates blood you save 3 lives, what a great gift to give during this holiday season.

FFA members, please remember to bring a coat to class Monday through Wednesday this week.  Remember the shop is open to pick up your fundraising product from 2:30 – 7 on Monday and Tuesday, and from 1:30 – 5 on Wednesday.  Go Aggies!

And now for canned food drive interviews.

And now for What’s The T and Patty G.

The boys basketball team lost in their home opener last night by a score of 39-36. The Braves had a great 2nd half comeback to make it close.  Craig James led the Braves in points with 13, Josh Verst had 11 after shooting 5-9 from the field, and John Richter had 5 points. The Braves begin the season 0-3, they will play next at Fenwick on Saturday night.

And a special shout out to my family in Washington, who last night went to pay their respects to former President Bush as his body lies in state in the Capitol Building. They waited 3 hours in the cold to get inside the rotunda, but say it was totally worth it — so thanks to Len, Susan, Megan, and Connor for sending those pictures in.

Home games for today: Varsity Wrestling has their first competition of the year as they host a tri-meet with Mount Healthy and Hamilton. All the action begins tonight at 6 in the gym.  Now I won’t be here Thursday and Friday — I’m visiting a college in Minnesota, so I will join you from Minnesota both Tomorrow and Friday  on the news with all the scores and results — so I will see you next from there, as we take The Final with Patty G on the road.

And that’s our broadcast on this Wednesday .  I’m Patrick Geshan.  Thank you so much for watching — and have a great early day.
