The Talawanda Marching Band is performing extremely well as they near the end of their season.  Tonight the Band will be performing to 7 to 7:30 pm on the Turf Field in the Marvin Willhelm Athletic Complex.  Everyone is invited to attend this free performance.  Tomorrow the Band will be traveling to Indianapolis Indiana to perform in the Bands of America Grand National Competition.  Have a great show band.

As you know, Trevor Zaenkert is one of our juniors who is currently battling cancer.  He is having a big surgery next Friday to remove the tumor from the bone in his arm.  This is also his 17th birthday.  His sister, Olivia Zaenkert (9th grade) wants to surprise Trevor on his birthday/surgery day.  So we are asking everyone to wear their “do it for trev” shirt or a yellow shirt!  We will message Trevor throughout the day, showing him all of the shirts and the support!  Please don’t tell Trevor as it is going to be a surprise.

Any sophomore that is interested in attending Butler Tech next year should talk to their English teacher to get a permission slip to attend one of the campus visits that will take place on November 30. These permission slips are due November 9th, so please get them returned ASAP!  You will have the chance to talk to a representative from Butler Tech next Tuesday during tutorial if you have more questions.

The Setting Stone Coffee House is this friday!  Tickets are on sale NOW in room 320!  Come out to see performances by Alexia Little, Caylor Jarvis, William Howard, the Palmers, and many more!  Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door.
