The Braves boys golf teams are still on a roll, with both squads defeating Little Miami on Tuesday.  The Varsity score was 169-181, led by medalist Trey Hubbard with a score of 39.  Rounding out the top four were Charlie Faler, 42; myself, 43; and Austin Goerss, 45.  The varsity remains undefeated at 9 & 0 in the conference.  The JV score was 197-220, with Parker Geshan shooting the medalist score of 45, and Taylor Cepluch carding a 43.  The JV team record is now 8 & 1 overall, and 7 & 0 in the conference.  On Wednesday, both teams take on Ross at Circling Hills.

The boys soccer team added another tally to the win column last night with a 4-0 shutout of Edgewood on the road. Max Farrell, Quinn Flahspohler, Andy June, and Reid Benamati scored the goals for Talawanda. The Braves are 6 and 0 overall, and 4 and 0 in the SWOC. They will play next  at home against Northwest tomorrow.

And the girls soccer team also beat Edgewood last night  — they won at home by a score of 3-0. Kyra Koontz netted two goals for talawanda and Ainsley Clark added another. The Lady Braves are 3-2-1 overall and 2-2-0 in the SWOC. They’re at Northwest on Thursday.

The girls volleyball team fell to Edgewood yesterday in straight sets at home.   Their record falls to 2 and 7 overall, and  1 and 3 in the SWOC. The  Braves have lost 3 consecutive matches in straight sets — they’ll take on conference foe Northwest on the road Thursday.

And the girls tennis team fell to Northwest last night by a score of 3-2. It’s the first conference loss making their SWOC record now 3 and 1.  They will host Hamilton this afternoon.
