Club News for today: Best Buddies will have a meeting today after school in room 316. Students are still welcome to join as new members, as the club plans future October events. AFS will also have a meeting after school today in room 117 to discuss the October fiesta.

Are you interested in taking CCP classes in spring? Reminder the deadline to apply is November 1. Please see your counselor for additional details.

The Setting Stone Fall Coffee House is this Friday night in the cafeteria. Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door.

Setting Stone is kicking off a week-long submission drive for the printed publication this year. Any artists, writers, or photographers are encouraged to submit, which also includes a $1 discount off of ticket purchases. E-mail submissions to Mr. Aerni or Mrs. Squance, or any member of Setting Stone.

For Talawanda wrestlers, preseason conditioning and agility will be starting today, and continue to Thursday and Friday. Be sure to attend mandatory practice on November 10, and the first competition will be on December 2.

Any photos taken by photographers during homecoming are available today and can be picked in the main office.

This month is Voila’s annual SOCK-tober event! Voila will be collecting new pairs of socks of any kind as donations for all of October. Come by room 118 and turn in pairs to the blue bin.

Miami University Regional Campuses would like to invite THS students and parents to attend the Southwest Ohio Regional College Fair. The fair will be held at Miami Hamilton Campus on October 24 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Over 100 colleges and universities will be attending, along with a Financing Your Education seminar from 6:00-6:30 pm before the fair. More information can be found on the Miami website’s admission page.

Lunch for today is orange chicken with rice, broccoli, and chilled fruits.

Birthdays for today: Nathon Detherage turns 15, Natilee Baker, Caroline and Katherine Johnston turn 17, and Eliott Auge turns 16

Home Games for today: Girls JV and Varsity soccer face Ross for their senior night. JV kicks off at 5, and Varsity starts at 7.
