The boys’ soccer team blanked Northwest last night 7 to nothing and secured at least a share of the league title! The 5-0 Braves are Back to Back SWOC Champions. Junior Sammy Robinson led the team in goals with 4 in the first half and leads the leaguer for the season with 19. Senior Dallas Josey, Jake Kelly, and Tristan Fontaine all added to the total. The Braves next home match is next Thursday vs. Ross – which will be live streamed. Come on out and cheer on the Braves as they try to take the title outright with a win or a tie.
Girls volleyball also won yesterday during their senior night in a straight-set victory over Edgewood. The Braves are now 4th in the conference with a 5-5 conference record. Talawanda finishes off the season with two road games, first against Northwest on Tuesday of next week and at Ross on Thursday.
At the golf sectional tournament yesterday, Vincent Whitehead shot a score of 79 to become one of four individuals from the southwest section of Ohio who will advance to the district tournament next week in Columbus. So congratulations to Vincent!
